Really great split here. Lots of variation between tracks, but feels surprisingly cohesive. These two acts have a great chemistry together. Hope to be able to grab this on vinyl at some point.
Favorite track: If The Stars Begin To Fade (Reign).

The cream of the crop of English black metal have joined forces on a new collaborative split EP.
Gate Master & Reign present one track each along with two collaboration tracks. Citing influences from early 00’s avant-garde black metal, 90’s second wave and late 80’s crust punk this is a truly unique listening experience for any connoisseur of extreme metal.

Incredible album with a ton of depth & atmosphere that kept me immersed throughout the entire listen. Specific shoutout to the last track for its powerful bass & structure which immediately lead to multiple plays. B.L
